Welcome to Goslingfan.com - Your most complete source dedicated to the
talented Canadian - Oscar nominated - actor Ryan Gosling. We aim to provide you the most comprehensive information and news on Ryan like high quality photos, streaming media and more.
I just finished capping “Blue Valentine” in high definition for you, so we added the film captures in our gallery. I think Ryan and Michelle Williams, who got a deserved Oscar nomination, portray Dean and Cindy brilliantly especially the contrast between falling in love and growing a part. Ryan worked again with director Derek Cianfrance on “The Place Beyond the Pines” which will be released this year.
Keep in mind that this movie was originally Rated NC-17 but is now R Rated because it contains some nudity before you see the captures.
We just came across some missing portraits of Ryan and Michelle Williams during their “Blue Valentine” promotion back in December 2010. The portrait session was taken by LA Times.
We are currently working on updating, adding and re-vamping our site content. So you may come across links that aren’t working, or pages that aren’t ready (yet). Sorry for the inconvenience but we are aiming to revamp the complete site, including our gallery, in the next months. We will let you know when everything is finished.
We are also looking for elite, top and regular affiliates. Feel free to apply if you want to become one. Also a note to our previous affiliates, or people who applied before. Due to an error in our affiliate system we lost all our previous affiliates so please apply again.
Just got an e-mail of Kat from PopSugar.com and according to her Ryan is scheduled to attend the Oscars tonight. Ryan is not nominated himself for his role in “Blue Valentine“, what I honestly still don’t understand, but his co-star Michelle Williams is. So be sure to tune in and watch the oscars tonight, you may end up seeing Ryan walking the red carpet. If he is attending we will of course add photos of him during the event.
We’ll [Popsugar] be live 3:30 pm PST / 6:30 pm EST, then after the Oscars at 8:30 pm PST / 11:30 pm EST.
As you know, Ryan Gosling is confirmed to attend! You will be able to watch us interview celebrities live on the red carpet of the event, and at afterparties following the Oscars - including possibly Ryan Gosling!
You can watch the livestream below, it will be streaming live around 3:30 pm PST / 6:30 pm EST. Thanks Kat for e-mailing us!
Update: Did not see Ryan on the red carpet or in the audience, maybe I missed him but I think he did not attend. Sorry for the misunderstanding…
On iTunes as of January 25th and in stores as of February 1st.
One of the best aspects of Derek Cianfrance‘s film is the excellent soundtrack, provided by Brooklyn indie favorites Grizzly Bear. While not an original score (the band were originally meant to write new music for the project, but when the start date was pushed, they ran out of time), the collection of instrumental versions of tracks from the band’s back catalogue was still one of the very best aural treats that’s been found on the big screen of late. There’d be no confirmed word of a soundtrack release until now, but Lakeshore Records have kindly, and exclusively, given us details of the release, which hits stores on February 1st. Update: iTunes release date has been bumped up to January 25.
