I have no idea how I missed this but I came across the first poster for Ryan’s upcoming movie “Only God Forgives“. The movie is directed by “Drive” director Nicolas Winding Refn and hit the Cannes market in May to find a distributor. No release date is announced yet, but let’s hope we will find out soon. The movie is rumored to premiere at Venice Film Festival in August/September but the official line-up isn’t announced yet.
@ChrisGreuet_CEO released the poster earlier this year via his official twitter account and according to his description the movie is rated R but FilmRatings.com doesn’t list the movie yet as rated.
We came across new images of Ryan on set of “Only God Forgives“. We assume they are released for the Cannes market. You can find them in our gallery. You can find a more in depth review of the “Only God Forgives” press screening at Cannes below/inside.

3 minutes of footage from “Only God Forgives” screened at the Film Festival of Cannes earlier today. The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, who also directed “Drive” and it was filmed in Bankok earlier this year. Let’s hope it will find a U.S. distributor soon!
ONLY GOD FORGIVES (3mins of footage): Gliding, operatic sequence involving a violent attack by Gosling. Stylised to the extreme. #Cannes Source
“Only God Forgives” wrapped up in Thailand earlier this week after months of filming. Ryan was seen saying goodbye to the crew of the movie on March 28. The movie is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Yayaying and more. We added the photos in our gallery.
Be sure to stay tuned, because we are going to start a fun project to celebrate our upcoming 3 year anniversary tomorrow.
