VanityFair.com did a nice interview with Ryan at Sundance for the promotion of Blue Valentine.

Ryan Gosling was in Park City last week for the Sundance premiere of Blue Valentine, an emotionally turbulent, dual narrative of a relationship’s charmed beginnings and its devastating demise. Gosling, who stars alongside an excellent Michelle Williams, sat down with West Coast editor Krista Smith to talk about how Blue Valentine tends to cause uproarious fights between couples who see it, complain that people often confuse him Ryan Reynolds, and admit that he’s not in love.

Great news, all of the hard work that has gone into the making of Blue Valentine has paid off.  The Sundance golden film has been nabbed by Weinstein Co.

PARK CITY — Harvey Weinstein has been given a “Blue Valentine” from Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams at Sundance.

The Weinstein Co. nabbed U.S., Canadian and Pan-Asian satellite territory rights to Derek Cianfrance’s romantic drama starring the pair in a low-seven-figure deal.
