Wild Bunch released the first official production still of Ryan in “Only God Forgives” with “Drive” director Nicolas Winding Refn. They are currently in Thailand to shoot the movie, which is expected to release this year. They are still under negotiations for a distributor deal.

Deadline reports that the deal with FilmDistrict never closed and instead, The Weinstein Company’s VOD/multi-platform shingle Radius — who recently snapped up the Refn produced “Pusher” remake — has beat out a number of suitors (including CBS Films) to land the movie, in what is said to be a $2.5 million pricetag. Frankly, that’s the kind of payout we’d expect from The Weinstein Company proper, not a VOD sideline gig, but we presume this deal will mark that shingle as major players.

Ryan is busy filming his upcoming movie “Only God Forgives” in Thailand. He was seen on set of the movie earlier this week (February 13) and heading to set a few days later (February 15). We added both sets in our gallery.

Ryan was seen arriving at LAX Airport yesterday (January 10) and according to the description he was taking a flight to Thailand. We are not sure this is true. He did change the color of his hair, it’s darker and we assume it’s for his upcoming movie “Only God Forgives“.

Ryan was seen leaving the Bowery Hotel with his “The Place beyond the Pines” co-star Eva Mendes on New Year’s Eve (December 31). He was seen the next day (January 1) with his mum Donna at arriving at a movie theater. We added both sets in our gallery.
