I got in hands a copy of the amazing “The Place Beyond the Pines” and did some HD screen captures to the site. The movie isn’t released in Brazil yet (only next June 21), and after watching it I can’t wait for. If the movie was released on your country and you missed it, don’t worry. DVD/Blu-Ray will be released next August 5 on UK and August 6 on USA/Canada, so be sure to pick your copy. You won’t be disappointed.

May 23 • by Lindsey • No CommentsHow To Catch a Monster, Only God Forgives

Ryan did not attend yesterday’s premiere and press conference for “Only God Forgives” at Cannes Film Festival. THR is reporting that a letter from Ryan was read during the press conference of the movie.

If the rain isn’t enough to dampen spirits Wednesday, the absence of star Ryan Gosling might do so. The star is skipping the red carpet premiere of Only God Forgives to stay in Detroit to continue shooting his directorial debut, How to Catch a Monster.

Festival organizers and Croisette gossips had been anxiously waiting all week for word on if the actor would attend. At the morning press conference for the film, festival director Thierry Fremaux instead read a letter in which the actor said travel restrictions were preventing him from flying and apologized for not being able to make it from the Motor City to the Med.

“I do not have the right to fly while I’m filming,” Gosling stated in the letter, citing insurance restrictions while he works. “I tried everything to bend the insurance company, but it fell on deaf ears.”
