I can’t see it, but hopefully it is true.
Warner Bros. has tapped Ryan Gosling to star opposite Steve Carell in its untitled comedy about a father dealing with a marital crisis.
Gosling will play a suave best friend of Carell’s character, whose life unravels as he tries to manage his relationship with his children. The team of John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“I Love You Phillip Morris”) is helming the spec script by “Bolt” scribe Dan Fogelman.
Pic’s produced by Denise Di Novi and Carell’s Carousel banner, with Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres exec producing.
Gosling stars opposite Michelle Williams in writer-director Derek Cianfrance’s relationship drama “Blue Valentine,” which TWC picked up at Sundance. He’s also starring with Kirsten Dunst in mystery romance “All Good Things.”

This is the first I have heard anything about this film. Hopfully it is true!
Ryan Gosling has reportedly been cast in the movie Drive.
The Notebook star has replaced Australian actor Hugh Jackman in the film, which tells the story of a stuntman.
Speaking to Empire Online, the film’s writer/director Nicolas Winding Refn said: “Hopefully next is a movie with Ryan Gosling at a studio in America. It’s called Drive and it’s about a stuntman by day, a getaway driver by night.”
Drive, which is based on the James Sallis’ novel of the same name, has been stalled for production in recent years with Neil Marshall originally lined up to direct the film.
